It should be a fun bike. Hard to give a value without photos.
$549 probably wouldn't be too outlandish if it was ready to roll.
Personally, I don't like "kicking tires" without an intent to buy. But, if the bike has been up for a while, it never hurts to toss out an offer of a price you're comfortable with.
