Phil needs to retire. I know that will not be popular, but after listening— a lot — to Matt and Robbie through all three grand tours in ‘18, it was clear they had a deeper knowledge and vastly better delivery than Phil and Paul. Now, without Paul, Phil’s interruptions/ all over the place delivery were just ridiculous at the TdU. Sorry Phil, you’ve been the voice of cycling forever, but it’s time to pass the batton.
