I share some of your concerns. That's why I ditched the LT thud buster. That thing was awful. Even maxing out preload it just felt inefficient pedaling. The constantly changing seat position was a complete deal breaker as well.
The redshift looks a lot better though. Who knows, maybe there's another delay in production and the thing doesn't debut until 2020?
I'm very interested in the Roubaix: futureshock and the lowered seat post clamp+ elastomer seem to be very effective. I'm hoping one of these seat post designs will be enough to prevent me from going all in on a $3.5K+ purchase!
