I think if its just about aesthetics, Ill wait to trim the axle until I get a new frame. Like I said, Im currently riding a fuji track frame that I've had for a few years. I've swapped out so many things by now though that the frame is about all that's left of the original bike. Now I'm in the market for a new frame to match the quality of some of the other components (I'm leaning towards a wabi special but that's for a different thread). I'm not 100% sure yet that I won't go for some sort of vintage road find though. So I think Ill just leave the axle alone for now, just in case.

I don't really mind the look of them anyway. You guys can feel free to dock my fixie points accordingly
