Now I work for Caterpillar doing development work on industrial gas turbine engines. It's been quite a ride

Former Air Force F-15 crew chief here. An Eagle Keeper. Baddest fighter jet the world has ever seen.
I pretty much hate all Naval Aviation, as every respectable Air Force airman should, but I will admit I miss the F-14s and all that cool Top Gun stuff. It was a very cool jet. I think the F-18 was a weak replacement. It never won my heart like the F-14 did. Bad ass jet. And don't get me started on the bent wing smoker, the F-4. Goodness, what a jet. A maintenance nightmare, but getting them to fly was always worth it. F-35 s and F-22s? Bla. I know they are truly awesome, but they're not getting it done for me. They don't stir my soul, they don't get me excited.
So yes, I'm just blathering and razzing you so you can respond and get your post count up. Welcome Naval Aviator!!!
