Yep, I used it several times and I hadn't those problems (using a OnePlus 5 and Garmin Edge 1000). In fact, I lost my Garmin Edge 1000 three weeks ago and now I have a 1030 unit... with double battery lasting. Now I can use live tracking for over 20 hours.
