I prefer Fizik bar tape. I use the different thicknesses based on bike use as I like the thinner 2mm stuff for most uses but will go with the 3mm for my gravel bike as the finishing wrap after a cheap cork tape as the base wrap. Makes for thicker bars but very cushy! I find lizard skins greater when dry but if it gets wet or your hands sweat it is like grabbing a bar of soap, very slippery. I also find the the Fizik tapes last forever but are somewhat harder to work with, especially the thicker ones as they do not stretch and can be difficult to fit in the barend with the plug.
