I recommended some Xenon levers they are black but the levers are alloy (not plastic) and they shift nearly as good as my 10 speed record levers. Heck they may shift the same I think I just like to think the Record levers shift better because I paid more for them. They are only $75 a pair on Chain Reaction website
Absolutely disagree. Daytona as a model was only terminated due to a copyright lawsuit. Early Centaur is exactly the same, just has a different logo. No compatibility issues with any C10 components. Xenon is 3 levels below, and a cheaper mechanism that does not have the 12 click left mechanism. Xenon is what the much maligned 2007 and later Mirage, Veloce and Centaur QS "Escape" shifters are based on. They were the first wave of Campagnolo's "cheapen everything up" campaign that began in 2007, and continues.
