Really like my Brooks B17, that is after the 300 mile or so break in.

Another saddle not mentioned so far is a Gilles Barthoud leather saddle. I have one but haven't put it on a bike yet. It has thicker leather than my Brooks so will probably have a bit longer break in period. Also it has a polymer (plastic) rear frame which Berthoud says is a plus due to being a bit more flexible and therefore a bit more comfortable but with all the durability of steel. That's the hype anyway but I don't know if any of that is true or not. The rails are stainless and a bit longer than the Brooks so you have more room to mount the saddle front to back on the post. No rivets but uses star type screws in their place. Also those screws are located at the rear of the saddle and not where you sit. From appearances anyway, it is a quality saddle.
