I'm going to see what Arc'teryx has to say about repairing it. I don't think I'll be skiing in it going forward though. I was very excited to have full storm protection, it packs small enough to clip to your belt and forget so I'll probably still carry it.
I have this jacket in the first iteration colour way (blue zippers and highlights), chose this over the Gore stuff because 1. this has a hood, and the hood rolls up nicely 2. it doesn't say GORE-TEX in massive fonts on the sleeves like how Gore does it.

I normally use it for road riding, trail running, and used it once for mountain biking (too scared of crashing and tearing this jacket). The front zipper isn't fully waterproof, not a big deal to me but it will irk some especially at this pricing.
