Original tires? My 'Hopper had Specialized tires that looked just like that.

Prices for such are all over, over here. I've seen them as little as $25, or even free, and as much as $200. Personally I'd hold out for $35-40 as mentioned, but that much bike, that clean, for $50 is nothing to sneeze at.
I rarely see good 90's mountain bikes here for cheap, especially in a reasonable size. I've been keeping an eye out for a Trek or Specialized for a while. All I find are either too tall or too pricey or already sold. The 90's are cool again and that includes the mountain bikes, unfortunately! From what I've seen, prices reflect that. Of course, cheap ones pop up from time to time.
