Random question. Maybe because I am veg, but I find the smell of cooked fish to be quite unpleasant. My office is near the lunchroom and sometimes employees microwave their lunch, and when someone makes fish it stinks (to me at least) and the smell lingers for awhile. I imagine I should just shut up but is there a role to ask people not to bring fish?

Fresh fish usually doesn't smell fishy. I cook fish several times/week and my house never has a fishy smell. An exception might be something like blue fish, which has a high oil content.
