Well these probably don't qualify as bike trip photos but it was unquestionably the most exciting flight I've ever had to the start of a bike trip. I spent Nov-Feb of '91-'92 at a job at McMurdo Station Antarctica. I had my bike in storage at the Christchurch NZ airport for travel afterwards.
