It always depends on who you ask. Northern Liberties is usually 6th St. to the west, Girard Ave. to the north, Delaware Ave. to the east, and Spring Garden to the South. In fact, I think that's how the city defines it.

Fishtown's "traditional" (i.e., the folks who've lived here since long before any youse new people got here) boundaries: Frankford Ave. from the Delaware River to Norris Street; Norris St. to the river (kind of an invisible line there, since Norris doesn't go all the way to the river.) Basically, a triangle. These days people are claiming York instead of Norris, some go as far as Lehigh replacing Norris. But as we all know, between York and Lehigh southeast of Frankford is called Cione.

The real estate agents are claiming everything from like N. American St. to Allegheny Ave. just so they can try to get more money. I read an article today about Trump's condo complex that's going to be on Beach Street (right along the river, east of Northern Liberties) called "Fishtown South." They also have real problems calling anything that's always been called Kensington "Kensington," because they don't want to scare anybody off.

Anyway, enough of the geography lesson. I won't be able to make it tonight, but hopefully this becomes a frequent thing - since I live in traditional Fishtown, it's two minutes away for me.
