Short answer is yes. The Specialissima was UNIVEGA’s premier touring bike, and was built by Miyata – reportedly similar if not the same frame as the highly acclaimed Miyata 1000 (https://simplicityvintagecycles.com/...specialissima/). It has Cro-moly double butted tubes, exceptional long point lugs with diamond windows, triple bottle mounts, single eyelet on rear dropout and double eyelets on front dropout, and low rider rack mount on fork. Components were some of the best made at the time. I just finished cleaning on up that I got from a friend. It rides real nice but is too small for me (57 cm frame Size) so I am preparing to sell it.
