I know it looks cool and all- but the SP-KC is not only a really heavy seat post (I was really shocked at how heavy it was- and I'm not so much of a weight weenie- I'm completely happy to use a part that's somewhat heavier if it's cool.) But if you ride in the rain or inclement weather- that milling that acts as the "ruler" allows water to get inside the seat tube and just sit and corrode in there... I do dig the posts and I try to fill/plug that channel with grease.
