The science is a bit suspect because the researchers hold the patent for the technology. It'll be interesting to see if their findings get replicated.

I don't have a lot of faith in the impact experiments generally as they are built on a lot of assumptions in the absence of good data on how heads actually get impacted in real crashes.

Looks like you can get one for $150. I'd have to try one on to see if they're tolerable. Also, want to know if they're fairly durable. Some gels deteriorate rather easily.
