Unlike the preceding Liberator poster, here is some typical PAL artwork, with very feminine, goddess like figures and images that symbolize increased female freedom and stature, pleasure and health. All three also emphasize the lightness of the bicycles. The Rudge implies "best in world quality" by hovering over awed cyclists covering several ethnic stereotypes. The Rudge poster was originally created for French dealers, where the bicycles were branded Déesse (i.e. Goddess) hence the additional symbolism of the winged figure and the Eifel tower in the sky line. Hmm, I wonder if Clément ever sued Colnago over the Ace of Clubs symbol? None are crazy or creepy, but are beautiful.
