I was looking for a lighter Sports touring bike that would take a 650b wheelset I got on Ebay. I missed out on a Schwinn Tempo and got hooked on the idea of finding one. Short story shorter, I crossed paths with 1986 trek 400t Elance and brought it home.

I was just wondering if there was there was any appreciable difference between these two "lightweight" sport touring frames, particularly in their compatibility with 650b wheels?
