True story: The first time that I used my first Road Morph many, many years ago was when we had a rear flat on a century at about the 25 mile mark. I pumped the tire and it seemed like I couldn't get more than 110# in it so I gave up and decided that would have to do. For the next 50 miles, my wife kept complaining about her rear end and how bumpy the roads were. Finally, we were at a rest stop and I asked the sag guy to check the air in the tire while I hit the John. Came back and he said he let 40# out and I was still at 125#. We had been running at 165# because the Road Morph's gauge stuck at around 110 and I kept pumping. Glad the heavy duty tandem rim could handle 165.

After that, I learned to just tap the gauge at 110 and if didn't move, give it 10 or so pumps and quit.
