I had planned to take a rest day especially since we are having 25 mph gusts earlier but I couldn't turn down the 63º weather and a chance to wear not not-bibs. So I spun over to the Illinois River bluff to a spot I haven't visited since i was a wee lad, Fort Creve Coeur established in 1680. The fort was very small and a replica is built there to show its simplicity and how the original was built.
