26" MTB for a local shredder
Here's the latest one to leave the shop. The rider is 11yo so, the design criteria was light weight and low. The dad rides a lot and knows the benefits of a high end bike so he wanted something nice for the kid. I built it around a 100mm Rock Shox SID that I lowered to 62mm. The groupset is 985 XTR and we swapped out the XTR crankset for the Trailcraft 155mm cranks you see here. The picture above shows it before trimming the hoses and without pedals and the correct saddle. Ready to ride it weighs just a tad under 22lbs with 2x drivetrain. The Paragon HT and T47 BB shells were both relieved to save additional weight. It's definitely the nicest bike in the school bike cage!
