How can I remove the hoods from my Dura Ace BL-7402 brake levers without damaging the hoods? At 2:00 in the video below, RJ the Bike Guy installs the hoods from the front, so I assume they should also be removed from the front. I’ve tried to do that but I’m afraid that I will damage the hoods. Does it make sense to put them in hot water to soften them? Any other ideas?
