What was the supposed problem of using ISO arms on JIS spindles? Or vice versa? I've utterly disregarded that alleged problem every time it comes up and never had a problem, including no problem on setups that do large mileage under strong riders. Some combinations just don't fit, don't work, and then you try another spindle. Unless BB, crank, and frame are a perfect matched set just expect there will be some test fitting along the way.

Bike in question is fifty years old and a classic. Should be done right. Frejus is always a special bike.

I have a Stronglight 93 which is correct era. Arms are clean, rings are worn. I'm not doing anything with them except gathering moss on north side. Yours for asking. Send me something, anything, in exchange. Something nice enough to justify postage. Not concerned with market value, want to see a good Frejus.

If the T.A. option is more interesting, be aware that Stronglight 49D is the same arm from the same forge. The 49D is much more available than T.A. and normally much cheaper. Most significant difference between the two is that some T.A. arms will go straight on a Campy spindle with no further fuss. And some won't. So far as I know, Stronglight arms slide in way too far on Campy spindles and something longer will be required. If there is an example of a Stronglight 49 out there working on a regular Campy double spindle I am not surprised.
