I've used Novatec hubs on several wheelsets, and never had a problem other than bearing wear, but I live in AZ. People that live in areas that actually get rain, sometimes tell a different story. DT hubs are well known for being high quality, and reasonably light weight.

What model and size tires do you plan on using? If you are thinking about 28mm tires, you might look at the RR56CO2 hoops. They are much wider than the RRU55CO2, and also lighter.

DT350 hub and RR56CO2 hoops weigh 1557g(estimated) $719

Novatec 411/412 hub and RRU55CO2 hoops weigh 1544g(estimated) $629

The weight difference is insignificant, but you'll have a much wider wheel, with better hubs
