Oh, it went full Bay Area on us when we were there-- it rained every night and almost every day, but never for any long period of time. I got drizzled on a little every ride, but not even enough to get wet. That place has it's very own climate-- go five minutes in a straight line, and you are likely to experience sunny, windy, raining, really bright, and very dark.

It dumped buckets the first night we were there, and my son has an utter inability to avoid puddles, so his shoes were soaked all the way through. He had just the one pair. He ended up with a hella-fly pair of white Adidas Superstars (shell toes!) from some ritzy joint up on Haight. I almost suspect skullduggery on his part.
