For the price of three cups I can buy a bag of beans and brew a whole pot at home---several times.
I brew myself a pot of coffee first thing every morning, but it's a little difficult to brew it when I'm 45 miles into a 110 mile ride, or driving a couple hundred miles and I want a coffee break. And it's worth the couple bucks not to carry a thermos.
