I could not see the front wheel on my motorcycle, it was on the other side of the headlamp. When I added a fairing, at first it bothered me that I could not see the ground at a distance closer than about 20 feet, but I got used to it.

My only complaint about not being able to see past my handlebar bag is that in daytime I can't tell if my fork mounted headlight is turned on or not.
