Maybe I ride in the hoods more than you? Maybe it's the CA heat? Maybe I'm describing them worse than they are, but I find myself constantly fiddling with them to get the edges back into the seams they belong in. Persistent low-level annoyance.

Any benefit to getting the hood on an entire replacement brake body like Gevenalle sells them?
