I had one of those 27in frame Schwinns, bought it new in '83, was stolen in '84. I bought a 69cm Lotus, that my brother-in-law has in his basement. I have a 62cm Cannondale in the garage, with quite a bit of seat post showing and using a moutain bike stem to compenstate for the needed lenght.
