Single lane of traffic in each direction, no shoulder, I was coming off of a slight downhill, doing about 35 in a 30 with an elementary school and a church on one side of the street and a playground and another church on the other side. SMFH, as one of the Dougs would say. When some people are behind the wheel and they see a cyclist, some lizard part of their brain tells them that they're just not going fast enough if they're not passing.
