Hello all, I found a Schwinn letour lux today on a pile out for spring clean up. It's the 15 speed version. I think it's a 1985. Has Columbus steel stickers on it and seems to be in great shape other than a different front rim. Was contemplating using this for the next project. I am not fond of the crank set. Am open to ideas on what to do with it.

When you end up removing the shifters for the clean up, would you mind posting a pic of the shifter boss and noting its dimensions? I have found out that these top mount bosses have a lot more variation than I thought, and it’s presenting some issues for one of my builds. It would be nice to know what’s under those shifters. Thx
