nate & abbiati

Hello all,

I'm new to the forum, but a classic bike ride from the days when they were new.

My stable has an Alan Frame and custom made Chris Kvale that he made for me in 1977 and now the Nate & Abbiati from Milano.

I looking for some info on the N&A which I found in my sister basement which I was told was left there by the previous owner 20+ years ago.

It a classic Italian frame made with Columbus and has campy dropouts. The frame is in good condition but the paint really shoot. It has all campy GS or NR components (c1984-5 +/- a year or two) that are mostly in serviceable condition.

What I'd like to know is who made the frames for N&A, since there are no stamped marks that I recognize on the BB and is it worth restoring the frame with new paint or just do a good full service. I've got the bike stripped down of all the major parts.

Pulling the forks and BB are no big deal if the consensus is to go all the way.

So is it a full restore bike or just a good make road worthy?

thanks
