I think it definitely has a drum brake in back. No matter, drum brake is never used for 'stopping'. Never. Drum brake is used for maintaining steady descent speed on
long downhill grade to take heat load off the tires, not so much the main brakes. It is a perfect example. If a Wombat darts out in front of that quad it won't be the drag brake the Captain reaches for, it will be the caliper brakes. Sidepulls by the looks of them. They will probably be enough. Think of that.
