I'm with [MENTION=7466]DougG[/MENTION] on this. My wife has an pedal-assist road bike. It's allowed us to ride together, and where previously her ride "experience" was a struggle from beginning to end, now she is enjoying the ride while observing the beauty of the surroundings and engaging in conversation. Much like Doug's experience, I now ask her to wait for me at the top of the hill. I get to pedal as hard as I like and enjoy my own "experience".
