yeah, it seems like the splitting thing isnt really affecting the performance. theyre EAI, which i thought were pretty nice. i was kind of surprised they split so soon, but it could be due to my inexperience with straps, and maybe i was abusing them a tad too much. anyways. and those businesscycle straps make my wallet wince a little. i was thinking about the ALEs on harriscyclery. any opinions on those?

edit: i was just looking at toe clips on ebay, and one seller suggests that the clips he is selling are ready to 'grease up' and install. what the hell is he talking about?
