Thanks everyone for your input. Here is the update in case anyone is interested:I took it to the lbs and they have contacted Giant with photos of the damage. According to what they said, it will most likely be a 10% off or a brand new frame. To be honest, I am surprised that they are able to use a warranty claim for damage created during assembly (I assume?) but we'll see what happens There was no touch up paint included but then did put a clear coat on it to seal it off.
