Hmmm, didn't notice they were stainless. Chinese stainless is a crapshoot at best but they shouldn't rust any faster than plated. You can tell they aren't finished off as nicely as some of the old school stuff, but who cares for this Coop application just so long as they look like a bike clamp and do their job. I'll propose we buy a mix of the plastic and the metal. Thanks for the input on this fellas!
