Blackburn/"jim blackburn" was/is a US based company- all the old stuff was made in the USA. The Vetta Blackburn knockoffs were marked made in Italy.
well, shoot....perhaps my memory is not serving me about that. it has been a while since i've laid eyes on it. nevertheless, it does say blackburn on it
