I was thinking of buying it but it seems like you need it more.
Second, I have repaired one by drilling and tapping. I used an auto shop so it uses an imperial bolt.
I was JRA when it broke, right in front of an auto machine shop so I walked in and inquired about a repair. At first they didn't want to work on a bike, but when I told them it was discontinued and vintage, it got their interest. One of them commented that he went to school with a girl named "Breezer."
They didn't have a bottoming tap so I asked if a broken tap will work. I dont remember how they did it but they did not bore through.
Twenty minutes later I was riding again.
