I can't really relate as my commute is about 4 miles total. What I can tell you is that, while I enjoy every second of it, I always look forward to the ride home the most even though it is almost entirely up hill and I won't get to enjoy the downhill side until the next day. Currently I am sitting here, looking out the window, looking forward to 4pm - which is still 7 hours away
. This is not because I want to leave work, but because I get to enjoy a bike ride on a beautiful afternoon. Heck, I even look forward to the rainy ones.
