I don't do tubeless, but do you know if the stems on their tubes are also like this? Would definitely put them on my avoid list.
The aluminum stems are not threaded all the way to the top, but their brass ones are fully threaded. I would assume it has something to do with making the aluminum ones lighter. The tubes have brass valves and are fully threaded.
Some tube manufacturers offer presta valve tubes with no threads on the outside of the valve. I used to have a bunch from Torelli, when I used tubes back in the olden days(sarcasm)
