Short story: I always owned Trek bikes. From the 3500, to the 3700 and lastly i own a 3900 Disc. They are very durable and have very good pieces. Also i never tried other brands.
I use it the most part of the time in the city. Work to House. And now i'm searching something more lightweight and fast. I saw that there's two Hybrid models that caught my attention but i don't know which one to choose.
In addition to moving around the city I would like to make some trails at the weekend. So I would like the bike to be versatile in that sense.

On one side there's the Trek FX family. I'm between the FX2 and FX3. (The difference is that the FX3 have carbon fork)

Is lightweight
Doesn't have suspension
Narrow tires.

On the other side there's the Trek DS family. Specifically the DS2.

A little bit heavier
More all around tires
front suspension

So which one should be the better option? Any suggestions?
