You did not say whether the rim is from the front or the rear and that would make a difference in selecting a new rim. Also, why not another Weinman rim but maybe 36 spokes? After messing with my own wheels over a number of years, I've come to the conclusion that one of the major aspects of rims it to get the spoke tension even. As soon as one spoke loosens just a bit, the remaining spokes have to pick up the load and that would lead to several other spokes also loosening.
