Seat post, saddle, bars, bar wrap color, pedals & wheelsets all seem to change around depending on rider preference and event.
I had a poster of Andy Hampsten in 1987 and he was using an 8 speed freewheel (cassette).
That's 1987! In the accompanying article he said it was a proto type. At the time I was thinking why would anyone need 16 speeds.
