I live in dairy country, and riding past dairies in the spring is... interesting. Especially when the roads flood, and I know I'm not riding through mud. I go slow to minimize splashing, and the smell, great googly-moogly the smell.
Then there was the time I rode by a dairy just in time to see the guy in the small front loader carrying the corpse of a calf by the neck, right past all the cows, who were quite rightly upset. The least he could have done was take it away out of their sight.
