We did our first LI ride in a while, after a week of relaxing riding and vacationing in western NY and adjacent Canada. 40.0 miles exactly to Northport. I'm usually heat averse but did OK today.....the Northport route is relatively flat and seemed even more so after some of the gradients we winched ourselves up in the Finger Lakes.
