I recently received my 3rd wheelset from the gang out there at BWW, and I'm really happy with them, so I thought I'd give the operation a minute in the spotlight.
This last set was to upgrade the low-end OEM wheels on a hybrid/commuter I picked up on a whim on my local used market.
I got a set of 29" Rhyno-lites, with Shimano XT hubs, hand-built with black DT's, and just for spits & giggles, I went with the extra-bombproof 36-holers.
Using one of the discount codes they often run, plus the free shipping for anything over $99, I got the wheelset for $170, delivered. They even include some velox rim tape, and the XT skewers.
I got a set of the same wheels last year ( even cheaper, but in 26" and only 32 hole) for a old Trek mountain bike project, and those things are still straight as an ice skate blade.
Anyway, I think these guys do a great job, at a great price point ( nope, ain't affiliated), and since you don't seem to hear too much about them, I figured I'd give them a push on the merry-go-round.
As you were !
