The rack is, was, a very nice rack, solid and well made. The mechanism that locks it to the hitch receiver, however, is rubbish. A fifth grader with a paper clip can unlock it in a matter of seconds. My old T2 Classic used a hitch pin lock and that seemed far more secure.

I know of at least one other club member whose rack was also stolen.

Have any other THULE rack owners had a similar experience?
