In any case, there's an outfilt based in Poland and selling on eBay (the same outfit making the dual-ended TA/Stronglight crank extractors) that has a reproduction scalloped wrench for those headsets. Reasonable price, too:

The Hozan tool works well and does not chew up these headsets. Still $9 for the right tool is a deal.
